Website Terms of Use

The terms on which you may use rxference.ai. The software you download has its own agreement, and the clinical limits on what the data may be relied on for are in the disclaimer — both are linked below and both take precedence over this page for the things they cover.

Version 1, effective 2026-09-06. Published by Rxference Foundation.

Draft. This policy is a draft pending legal review. It is published so that anyone using the site or the application can see how their information is handled, and it is written to be accurate about what the system actually does - but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and the wording may change.

These terms, and the two documents they defer to

This website is operated by Rxference Foundation. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Three documents cover three different things and it is worth knowing which is which:

  • This page governs your use of the website: the pages, the in-browser demo, and the forms.
  • The Medical Disclaimer & Terms of Use governs what the drug information may and may not be relied on for. It applies to the demo on this site exactly as it applies to the application.
  • The End User License Agreement governs the software you download.

Where they overlap, the more specific one wins.

The demo is not a clinical tool

The interactive demo on the landing page runs the real interface over a small slice of the real data. It is there so you can see what the application is before installing it.

It is not a clinical decision tool, it is not complete, and nothing in it is medical advice. It carries a fraction of the drugs the application does, and an interaction absent from it is not an interaction that does not exist. Do not use it to make a decision about a patient. The full terms in the Medical Disclaimer & Terms of Use apply to it.

Where this service is offered

Rxference is offered in the United States only. We are not currently selling, distributing or offering the software, the Academic Edition licence, or the Professional Edition to people in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area.

The site is reachable from anywhere, as any website is, and that is not an offer to supply anywhere. Registration asks you to confirm your use is in the United States, and automatic licence issue is limited to United States academic domains.

If you are outside the United States, please do not register. If you already have, write to us and we will delete the record.

What you may do with this site

Read it, use the demo, download the application, and fill in the forms honestly. That is the whole of the intended use and we do not want to make it more complicated than that.

Please do not: attempt to gain access to any part of the service you have not been given access to; probe or test the vulnerability of the site except as described under responsible disclosure in the privacy policy; submit anything through a form that is unlawful, or that contains patient information, or that impersonates somebody else; use automated means to submit forms; or attempt to disrupt the service for other people.

The licence service applies rate limits and a proof-of-work requirement to the endpoints anybody can reach. Circumventing them is a breach of these terms.

What is ours and what is not

The site's design, text, logo and wordmark are ours. The name Rxference and the mark are ours. You may not use them to suggest we endorse you or your product.

The drug data is a different matter and deliberately so. The openFDA label corpus, the FDA's interaction and mechanism tables and the CMS prescribing counts are United States government works in the public domain, and we make no proprietary claim over them. What is ours in the data is the editorial layer: the severity gradings, the selection of what to carry, and the writing. The sources are named on the About page and in the application wherever their data appears.

You may quote reasonable extracts from this site with attribution.

Availability, and no warranty for the site

We do not promise the site will be available, complete, or free of error. We may change it or take it down at any time. To the extent the law allows, the site is provided as it is and as it is available, without warranties of any kind.

This does not affect any right you have that cannot be excluded under the law of the country you live in, and nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Links out

We link to the FDA, the National Library of Medicine and other sources so you can check what we say against them. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them. A link is not an endorsement.

Forms, and what happens to what you write

The registration, enquiry and investor forms send what you type to us. The privacy policy says what we do with it and how long we keep it, and each form links to it.

The investor page is an invitation to get in touch. It is not an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security, and nothing on it or arising from it forms part of any such offer.

An enquiry about the Professional edition is not an order and creates no obligation on either side.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version number and date at the top change when we do. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the state you live in that you cannot waive by agreement.
